Privacy notice

This privacy notice tells you what to expect when you visit this website and what happens to any personal identifiable information you share with us. RUBIS.Qi is an NHS consultancy and is hosted by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

There may be instances where we collect personally identifiable information when you visit this website. When we collect personal information we will make this clear and explain what we intend to do with it at the point that it is submitted.

In the case of this website this currently applies to:

  • the contact us form where you can submit an enquiry to the RUBIS.Qi team and in doing so you will be asked to supply your email address so we can get back in touch with you. We will only share your email address and its content with other organisations if it will assist with your enquiry. We will inform you that we are sharing your message with that organisation.
  • registered users of our private discussion forums. We hold a list of email addresses and contact details of those people who have registered to use our discussion forums. This list is used for administrative purposes only and is not passed to other organisations. Users of the forums are informed via the website not to disclose patient identifiable information and the discussion forums are moderated.

Security: This site has security measures in place to protect the loss and alteration of information under our control.

People who contact us via social media: If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be accessible by the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust communications and RUBIS.Qi teams. Feedback received via social media may be used internally in reports but all personal identifiable information is removed.

People who call Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust via phone: When you call any telephone number belonging to Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we collect calling line identification (CLI) information.  We use this information for audit and security purposes. Some of our services may require you to provide us with personal information over the phone. All information provided to us via this method is treated processed in line with data protection legislation (GDPR) and trust policies.

People who email Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust: We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic in line with government. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit. We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

Links to other websites: This privacy notice does not cover any links within this website that direct individuals to external websites that are not part of the Northumbria Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on the external websites you visit.

This is known as “right of subject access”. If you want to see or receive a copy of your information, a copy of the application form can be found here, you can also contact us on the details provided below. In certain circumstances access to your information/records may be limited, if such an instance occurred, we would provide reasons for this.
