Suzie is director of leadership and quality improvement at NHS Improvement.
She has significant experience as an operational healthcare manager and has successfully led on improvement work and multiple major change programmes at an organisational level.
She led on the creation of the Sheffield Microsystem Coaching Academy which develops capability for staff and patients. She is a trained leadership coach working with senior clinicians to increase their performance.
An advocate of relational leadership and empowerment, she is passionate about creating the right conditions to enable staff to make improvements. She is working with the Kings Fund on a major programme of work on culture and leadership.
Suzie is a Health Foundation Generation Q fellow and is taking a lead role in establishing an improvement directorate of NHS Improvement.
